Sokrates Stein was selected as a Young Fellow of the EAS (European Atherosclerosis Society) Programme and attended the first meeting in December 2019 in Vienna, Austria. The meeting was enriched with presentations from several outstanding clinical and basic atherosclerosis scientists, including Børge Nordestgaard, Kausik Kay, Christoph Binder, Ira Tabas, Kathryn Moore, Ziad Mallat, Jan Borén and many more.
