Dr. Florian A. Wenzl receives Science Award from the Siegenthaler Foundation for his work on AI and Precision Care in Acute Coronary Syndromes
At this year’s dies academicus, the annual celebration marking the founding of the University of Zurich, Dr. Florian A. Wenzl received the Science Award of the Walter and Gertrud Siegenthaler Foundation for his work on »Precision Care in Acute Coronary Syndromes and Beyond«.
The award was conferred by the Vice President of the Medical Faculty, Prof. Beatrice Beck Schimmer, in recognition of outstanding contributions to medical research. This distinction highlights ongoing efforts to advance precision medicine and improve cardiovascular outcomes through innovative translational research.
The event was hosted by the University of Zurich leadership, including President Michael Schaepman, Vice President for Research Elisabeth Stark, and Dean of the Medical Faculty Frank Rühli.
